Writer, speaker, broadcaster
Sheridan Voysey is a writer, speaker and broadcaster on faith and spirituality. His study of society and culture, plus the insights gained from his 2000-plus radio interviews, have led to two core convictions: that human beings innately long for God, and that God walks beside us incognito.
After ten years of tear-soaked prayers and repeatedly dashed hopes, Sheridan and his wife came to the heart-breaking conclusion that their dream of having a child was over. Empty and confused from a decade of disappointment, they left their jobs, packed their bags, and embarked on a journey in search of restoration. That journey took them to the United Kingdom, resulted in the memoir Resurrection Year, a short film called A Journey Through Broken Dreams, and a very unexpected ministry helping those with broken dreams start again.
Sheridan is the author of five popular books: the memoir Resurrection Year: Turning Broken Dreams into New Beginnings (shortlisted for the 2014 ECPA Christian Book of the Year award and currently #3 on Christian bestseller list in Australia). Unseen Footprints: Encountering the Divine Along the Journey of Life (named 2006 Australian Christian Book of the Year, now in a second edition), and the three-volume series Open House: Sheridan Voysey in Conversation.
Sheridan has spent nearly two decades in the media, most recently as the creator and former host of Open House: a live, nationally-networked radio show exploring life, faith and culture. Sheridan has interviewed some of the world’s most prominent authors, artists, activists, politicians, poets, philosophers, theologians and musicians—everyone from Max Lucado to Thomas Keneally, Gloria Gaynor to Jeffrey Sachs. In five short years Open House gathered an audience of over 100,000 listeners, released a series of best-selling books, produced a Top-10 iTunes podcast, and carved out a unique place in Australian broadcasting, engaging Muslims, atheists and new-agers alongside Christians of all varieties.
He has spoken at megachurches, addressed Senators and MPs at Australia’s Parliament House, a group of Pentecostals in a Peruvian slum, and almost every group in between.
Sheridan holds degrees in Ministry and Communication, and has served in numerous church and para-church leadership roles. He is married to Merryn, loves Thai food, is partial to dark chocolate, devours books, enjoys photography, and can often be found in one of Oxford’s cosy coffee shops.

Linda Coleman Isaiah
Speaker, life coach, minister
You need to attend Beauty for Ashes 2015 to hear Linda’s powerful testimony for yourself. You will be amazed at her courage, enchanted by her personality, and uplifted by the message of hope she shares.
Linda experienced physical, emotional and sexual abuse as a child and a series of difficulties in her life, including marital problems and caring for a seriously ill parent. She believes God delivered her from agony so that she could reach out and help pull other women out of distress. “I pull back the curtains on my life and share with women that even when we feel hopeless and burdened with pain, God is able to bring us out. God is a restorer and he lives in us. He can take every wrong and make it right. God took my misery and turned it into ministry.” In her practical, straightforward and humorous style she infuses hope into the hearts of her audience.
“I believe that all women have a destiny that is bigger than any one role that they play. We get so busy in our lives, trying to take care of everybody else that we are just worn out. My vision is to give women hope so they can fulfil the call to help build God’s kingdom.”
Linda is the founder and president of LCI Ministries and creator of the women’s conference “Unleashed Hope”. Linda has studied Systemic Theology and is a certified Grief Recovery Specialist as well as Executive Director of Kandy Kane Children’s Learning Centre.
